We have reviewed 16 vibration plates available to UK buyers. Each one has spent at least 21 days in an ordinary UK home, been measured against its published specifications, and judged on the same criteria. The reviews below are the editorial source of truth — every ranked buying guide we publish is built on them.

How we review vibration plates

Our review protocol is fixed. Every plate gets the same treatment regardless of brand, price, or whether the unit was purchased or sent for review.

The 21-day in-home protocol

Each plate is used in a real UK home for at least 21 days by a primary tester. During the test we capture:

What we measure

Five scoring dimensions: build (20%) · frequency accuracy (20%) · motor (20%) · noise (15%) · warranty (25%). Warranty weight reflects the reality of home-use plates: motor failures are common; warranty is what determines whether you keep your money or lose it.

Our independence policy

No brand has ever paid for a higher rank. We participate in the Amazon Associates programme and earn commission on qualifying purchases. Where products are provided free for testing, we disclose it on the relevant review and either return the unit or make a charitable donation equivalent to its retail price.

For the wider trust framework, see our methodology and team page.

Frequently asked questions

How do you decide which vibration plates to review?

We review plates that are currently available in the UK on Amazon, JTX direct, Argos, or Power Plate UK. We prioritise brands readers actually search for, then add new entrants when their Amazon ratings cross 100 verified reviews.

Are your reviews paid for or sponsored?

No. No brand has paid for placement, ranking, or favourable coverage. We participate in the Amazon Associates programme and earn commission on qualifying purchases through our links — but commission has never affected a single rating or rank.

How often do you update your reviews?

Each review is refreshed at least once per year. Reviews are also updated when a model’s specifications change, when a new generation launches, or when we receive enough reader feedback to revise a verdict.

Why is the same plate sometimes ranked differently in different guides?

Our buying guides rank by use case — best overall, best for seniors, best for weight loss. A plate that is third overall might be first for cellulite. Each guide picks the best plate for that specific reader, not the highest-rated plate in our database.
